Sure Electronics has released an interface extension card to provide a simple connection solution for customer applications. The on-board interfaces include 2CKT RCA input jacks, 2CKT RCA output jacks, 3.5 mm AUX 2CKT jacks, MicroCept 2CKT molex vertical headers. With headers and a 10-pin cable, the interface extension card can be quickly integrated to the Kernel DSP card. For more detailed information on the connection, refer to the "Connection" chapter.

How to connect the DSP audio kernel board with the interface extension board? All useful ADAU1701 pins were included in 2 sockets on both sides of the Kernel card. It is easy for customers to integrate this card into their projects. A 10-pin on-board terminal is also provided for connection to Analog Devices EVAL-ADUSB2Z for programming. Choose this extension card for more generic connector interfaces. 2 RCA inputs and a 3.5 mm AUX jack for the input, 3 RCA pieces and a headphone jack for the output are provided. Even the Molex 4Pin terminals have been supplied on board for more complex application solutions. To connect these two cards, a 10-pin extension cable is supplied connected to the extension kit. The installation kit is also a help for a quick connection and convenient programming.
