Audio digital signal processor board, 48 / 96kHz, 56bit, 2 inputs / 4 outputs. Based on the Analog Devices ADAU1701 DSP. Supports IIR and FIR filters. Latest version v2.20 with USB-C power connection.
By default, the DSP is configured as a 2-way + subwoofer. The board is also equipped with 4 freely assignable potentiometers, which are assigned the following functions upon delivery: master volume, highs, lows, crossover frequency. In addition, the board is equipped with write protection and a reset button.
The DSP can be programmed without restrictions using the free " SigmaStudio " software from Analog Devices. The changes are carried out in real time, ie when a parameter is changed in the software, this is output directly via the connected audio system. A cumbersome upload of the settings to the DSP with subsequent acoustic control of the changes is no longer necessary, which enables a more pleasant and faster integration of the DSP into the audio chain. All inputs and outputs are implemented via connector strips. As an option, we offer an RCA interface which, in addition to the cinch sockets, also provides a 3.5mm jack plug (2-channel) as input and output. The interface board is supplied with a connection cable to the main board.
Tip on the software: You can find a detailed description of how all function blocks work in the Analog Devices Wiki. Example parametric equalizer:https://wiki.analog.com/resources/tools-software/sigmastudio/toolbox/filters/parametriceq
Features / technical data:
The separately available programmer is required to program all Wondom DSP boards.
The SigmaStudio file "SigmaStudio 2-way frequency filter", which is available for download further down on this page, shows the exemplary structure for equalizing using a parametric equalizer, a crossover with cutoff as a subsonic filter and a compressor. A master volume and a level meter for displaying the input signal are also integrated in the project. The file can be opened directly in SigmaStudio.
