The Cheap Trick CT 264 is a 2-way transmission line box. Oliver Martin uses a Monacor DTM-104/8 tweeter and a Monacor SPM-165/8 woofer in it. The housing is easy to assemble; it only consists of small boards sawn at right angles, one of which is inside the box to form the transmission line. CT 264, also affectionately known as "flea in the ear" or "FiO" for short, contains a 2-way crossover. This has a 2nd order low pass and a 3rd order high pass. The frequency response has a slight dip between 5 and 7 kHz, but is otherwise quite flat.

Our high-end version contains MKP capacitors instead of MKT capacitors. The coils are designed as baked enamel coils.
