Acoustic foams can dampen or dampen sound and thus influence the acoustics of a room. Acoustic foams are so-called porous absorbers. Porous absorbers include all porous and fiber-like materials such as foams, textiles, carpets and special acoustic plaster.

The mode of action of these absorbers is that the vibration of the air particles (= sound) is braked by the structure of the material through friction and converted into thermal energy.

The Pyra series (sound absorber made of PUR foam) covers a wide range of application areas, as listed below:

Lining of rooms in the private sector (music practice rooms, hobby rooms etc.)
