Designed to be teamed up with the popular C-note bookshelf speaker, the C-note MTM center channel speaker kit makes it simple to build your own high quality home theater system for an unbeatable value. Voiced to match the sound of the C-note bookshelf speaker, this center channel has improved output capability and dynamics that are necessary to meet the demands of today's movie soundtracks. In addition, special attention was taken with the crossover design to keep any sibilance under control, ensuring no listener fatigue after long sessions at high output. This easy to assemble center channel give you the opportunity to complete your own home theater system with a finish that matches your own personal tastes and decor.

Dayton Audio's DSA135-8 5" (12.7cm) Designer Series woofer is used for the midrange and low frequencies. With an aluminum cone and a powerful motor designed for low distortion, this woofer produces bass with authority while remaining smooth through the midrange frequencies. The high frequencies are handled by the ND25FW-4 1" (2.54cm) soft dome tweeter, also from Dayton Audio. This waveguide-loaded tweeter controls high frequency dispersion for smooth off-axis response and natural sound. Another advantage of the waveguide design is that it allows the voice coil to set further back from the baffle for an almost perfect time alignment with the woofer.

The solid MDF enclosure's 1/2" (1.27cm) panels are all CNC milled to tight tolerances, ensuring easy assembly. The surface mounted woofer is easy to install, while the flush mounted tweeter provides a sleek appearance.
