Audimax Core is a two-way floorstanding loudspeaker. It is a bass reflex loudspeaker with chassis from SEAS and Audaphon. The loudspeaker contains the following loudspeaker chassis: - a ribbon tweeter Audaphon Neo pro 5i - two woofers SEAS Excel 18MW12T The loudspeaker was developed by Bernd Timmermanns. The crossover consists of: - a 3rd order high pass (18 dB / octave) for the tweeter. - a 2nd order low pass (12 dB / octave) for the woofer, with an additional suction circuit connected in parallel. The frequency response of the loudspeaker is exemplary and perfectly linear. The decay spectrum (waterfall diagram) is exemplary without any disturbing resonance. The non-linear distortions at medium volumes (90 dB, 1m) are below 0.4% above 100 Hz.
