Waveline 152 MK2 is a two-way floorstanding loudspeaker. Waveline 152 MK2 is a transmission line loudspeaker with chassis from Audaphon and Wavecor. The loudspeaker contains the following loudspeaker chassis: - an air motion transformer (ribbon tweeter) Audaphon AMT 2i - a mid-woofer Wavecor WF152CU13 The crossover consists of: - a 3rd order high pass (18 dB / octave) for the tweeter. - a 3rd order low pass (18 dB / octave) for the woofer. The frequency response of the loudspeaker is perfectly linear. The decay spectrum (waterfall diagram) is exemplary without any disturbing resonance. The non-linear distortions remain almost consistently below 1% at 90 dB (1m) above 200 Hz.

The high-end kit is equipped with copper foil coils to reduce the microphonic effect (the current through the coil generates a magnetic field, which in turn sets the winding in motion. This movement induces voltages in the coil, which are added to the useful signal. The tighter the winding of the coil, the less the useful signal is distorted.) The capacitors for the tweeter - where quality is particularly important - are high-quality Mundorf MCAP EVO silver gold oil with 450 V.
