Rauma is a high-quality two-way floor-standing loudspeaker. Rauma is a bass reflex loudspeaker with chassis from SEAS and Audaphon. It contains the following loudspeakers: - an air motion transformer (ribbon tweeter) Audaphon AMT 1i - two woofers SEAS Excel W15CH001 As the loudspeaker chassis are of the highest quality, the crossover could be kept quite simple (without blocking or suction circuits). The crossover consists of: - a 2nd order high pass (12 dB / octave) for the tweeter. - a 2nd order low pass (12 dB / octave) for the woofer. The frequency response of the loudspeaker is perfectly linear. The decay spectrum is practically flawless with the exception of a resonance around 600 Hz. The nonlinear distortions at low volumes (85 dB, 1 m) are below 0.2% above 500 Hz and remain below 0.4% in the audible range even at higher levels (95 dB, 1 m).

The high-end kit is equipped with baked varnish and foil coils in the important places to reduce the microphonic effect (the current through the coil generates a magnetic field, which in turn sets the winding in motion. This movement induces voltages in the coil, which are added to the useful signal. The tighter the winding of the coil, the less the useful signal is distorted.) The capacitors are high-quality Clarity Cap ESA MKP capacitors with 630 V and a PWA capacitor with 160 V.
