The Tang Band W4-1879 full-range driver features an underhung neodymium motor design that provides extended, linear response while reducing 2nd and 3rd harmonic distortion. The bamboo/paper cone is lightweight yet appropriately rigid and is terminated with a durable foam rubber half roll surround. A unique aluminum phase plug improves dispersion at the speaker's higher frequencies.
