Audimax-TL 18.2 RB is a two-way floorstanding loudspeaker. Audimax-TL 18.2 RB is a transmission line loudspeaker with chassis from Audaphon and Hobby-HiFi (Made by SEAS). The loudspeaker contains the following chassis: - a ribbon tweeter Audaphon APR 1.0 - a mid-woofer Hobby-HiFi (Made by SEAS) 18MW12T The loudspeaker was developed by Bernd Timmermanns. The crossover consists of: - a 3rd order high pass (18 dB / octave) for the tweeter. - a 2nd order low pass (12 dB / octave) for the mid-woofer. The frequency response of the loudspeaker is perfectly linear. The decay spectrum (waterfall diagram) is exemplary without any disturbing resonance. The nonlinear distortions at medium volumes (90 dB, 1 m) are below 0.4% above 200 Hz.

The high-end kit is equipped with Heptalitze coils in the important places. The capacitors for the Audaphon APR 1.0 - where quality is particularly important - are high-quality Mundorf MCAP Supreme Evo oil capacitors.
