    Dayton Audio DAEX25VT-4 Vented 25mm Exciter 20W 4 Ohm Dayton Audio's DAEX25CT-4 25mm button exciter offers the same ability to turn almost any surface into a speaker as other exciters and tactile transducers, only in a more compact package for working with smaller surfaces. The small size of this exciter allows audio playback in places you never imagined: toys, monitors, closet doors... even windows!
    A neodymium magnet is used to create maximum magnetic flux around the proprietary voice coil to increase sensitivity compared to similarly sized exciters. This in turn reduces power requirements and allows the use of very small audio amplifiers without sacrificing overall performance. The 1-inch voice coil and cooling holes allow more input power for higher output applications while maintaining a slim form factor. To ensure maximum acoustic energy transfer between the transducer and the surface to which it is attached, 3M VHB ( VeryHighBond ) adhesive is pre-applied...just peel and stick! Two PCB solder points keep installation and wiring as compact as possible.
    A great area of application for this exciter are so-called DML or flat loudspeakers. DML stands for Distributed Mode Loudspeaker and is a term for loudspeakers that stand out due to their incredibly slim design
