Dayton Audio's DAEX25Q-4 Quad Arm Exciter features four arms extending from the main exciter body, allowing this exciter to transmit sound over a much larger surface area for enhanced low-end frequency response (more bass) to expand.

A neodymium magnet is used to create maximum magnetic flux around the proprietary voice coil to increase sensitivity compared to similarly sized exciters. This in turn reduces power requirements and allows the use of very small audio amplifiers without sacrificing overall performance. The 1-inch voice coil allows for more input power and produces a rich, dynamic sound.

To ensure maximum acoustic energy transfer between the transducer and the surface to which it is attached, 3M VHB ( VeryHighBond ) adhesive is pre-applied to the main body and four arms...just peel and stick! Two spring-loaded terminals are constructed on the main body for quick electrical connection.

A great area of application for this exciter are so-called DML or flat loudspeakers. DML stands for Distributed Mode Loudspeaker and is a term for loudspeakers that stand out due to their incredibly slim design.
