High sound quality

Surely we not only offer low power consumption, but Sure Electronics offers a very high sound quality at the same time. Everything is nothing without high sound quality. It is possible to obtain a frequency response lower than ± 3dB on the AUX channel and that is the same on the Bluetooth channel if APT-X is enabled. For most Sure Electronics audio amplifiers, we can get about 90dB or more SNR and 0.01% distortion when output 1 Watt.

Ready BQB, APT-X, CE and FCC

This product series is a demo version for Bluetooth audio applications. Working with Sure Electronics' experienced engineers, all of these products can easily pass the Bluetooth SIG, CSR APT-X certification, what the customer should do is pay the royalty fee to Bluetooth SIG or CSR. And they are also ready for CE and FCC, there is no difficulty in making the final product to get the CE and FCC certifications, in the EMI part.

PBTL Mode (Mono) Configurable

The JAB series amplifier boards offer the functionality of parallel BTL operation with two outputs of each channel connected directly. To operate in this mode PBTL (mono), apply the input signal to the RIGHT input and position the speaker between the LEFT and RIGHT outputs. Connect the positive and negative output together for maximum efficiency.

Multiple PowerPath

It will provide an MPPT charge function and also works with typical power adapters. If your application does not require the operating mode of lithium or lead-acid batteries, you can remove the MPPT charge controller to save costs. But you can still evaluate this card with the integrated MPPT controller, because nothing is different if you don't need this option. The input voltage should be 15-19 V to make the battery fully charged. 3 lithium-ion batteries in series will be more than 12.6 V when fully charged, and lead-acid batteries are more than 12.8 V when fully charged, so if the customer needs batteries in their application, they must select adapters more than 15 V and less than 24 V, and the maximum power will be more than 30 Watts. It is also possible to use solar panels for their applications, just remember to use solar batteries with floating voltage (open) with 16.5-21.5 V and use 20-100 Watt panels for this application. In fact, each energy source can supply more than 15V and 0.15 A will work with this card, the card will automatically adjust the charging current.

Extremely low standby power

The JAB series products can offer a continuous playback time of up to 24 hours, which has been tested while the Bluetooth is connected and playback of black Jazz style songs is played continuously. The maximum output voltage on the speaker is 4 V RMS and the load is not less than 5%. The speaker impedance is about 8ohm. Sure Electronics also offers a solution with continuous playback time up to 60 hours, which is more than 2 days with only 2 hours of fast charging. This version can only provide a maximum output of 7.5 Watts at 4 ohm loads, but this is already sufficient for most applications. The waiting time has been calculated with Bluetooth always enabled, which means that it is always possible to search for Bluetooth, the 7-day standby time is not reached by stopping the Bluetooth module. So, comparing ourselves with competitors' products, we can afford waiting times about 4 times higher, thanks to the use of a very high efficiency DC / DC converter and the use of a low energy consumption microcontroller like PMU (Power Management Unit) .

Quick installation

During the practical installation of the Jukecase / kiosk amplifier, it will take up to several tens of minutes to connect and debug in the last assembly and test phase. The reasons behind potential problems are found on many aspects of operation, such as the reversed polarity of the power supply, the correct multichannel orders, the volume adjustment of each channel, the disconnection of the signal channel caused by poor contact and so on. In order to solve the aforementioned problems and improve the actual connection speed and passage of the test, we take advantage of the different forms of connectors for power connections, speaker connections, signal input connections and potentiometer connections. For example, the Mini Fit JR 2CKTS Molex vertical headers, the 4CKTS / 6CKTS JST PH SMT top entry type headers are populated in JAB for easy recognition. Furthermore, we also supply the combined extension cables for different connectors, which are easily made distinguishing one from the other by different cable colors. We do not save effects in improving connection and measurement efficiency and in saving on installation and debugging costs.

Optional extensions

Sure Electronics has released an expansion card to provide a simple panel solution in customer applications. On-board interfaces including a 3.5mm AUX jack, 2CKTS USB ports for charging, a toggle button and an LED power indicator.
With headers or a 10-pin cable, the interface extension card will be quickly integrated into the amplifier board.

The Sure Electronics lithium battery expansion card provides three 18650 battery holders. Aluminum bracket type L (Optional)

It is quite difficult to assemble the audio amplifier board in an enclosed space like most Kiosk and Jukebox applications. To improve the connection and measurement efficiency and save on installation costs, Sure Electronics offers an L-type aluminum bracket for the JAB series. The aluminum bracket supports the vertical and horizontal installation modes to meet different installation needs. With 4 M3 screw spacers and 2 pre-punched M3 mounting holes, the JAB series audio amplifier boards can be easily installed on the bracket.
