Product details

Fountek, an innovator in ribbon transducer technology, is the first to mate true ribbon technology with horn-loading for high efficiency and low distortion with their NeoCD3.5H . A reinforced sandwiched-aluminum ribbon diaphragm and strong neodymium motor structure are extremely responsive, and deliver musical detail with speed and accuracy, from 1,100 to 30,000 Hz, while the wide horizontal off-axis dispersion makes for a larger listening sweet spot.

A taller element is used in the NeoCD3.5H, which tames vertical off-axis dispersion. This helps to minimize ceiling and floor bounce reflections for world-class, pin-point precise imaging, while the focused output also reduces the amount of sound pressure level drop over distance. Recommended minimum crossover frequency: 2,500 Hz @ 18 dB/octave.
