Our profile foam is a high quality sound absorption material based on PUR soft foam. This profile foam has broadband sound absorption over a wide frequency range through porous absorption. Thanks to the angle of inclination and the pore structure, we were able to achieve a very good reduction in resonance, and the optimized flow resistance and the structured surface create a noise protection product with excellent sound absorption and an appealing look.

Acoustic foams can dampen or dampen sound and thus influence the acoustics of a room. Acoustic foams are so-called porous absorbers. Porous absorbers include all porous and fiber-like materials such as foams, textiles, carpets and special acoustic plaster.

The way these absorbers work is that the vibration of the air particles (= sound) is braked by the structure of the material through friction and converted into thermal energy.
