Donau aktiv MK2 is active 3 Way high-end floorstanding speaker with closed bassrange system, ceramic midrange and air-motion-transformer. The ampifier is a amazing Abacus Dolifet wit analog crossovers.

The tweeter is the very linear Air Motion Transformer Audaphon AMT-1i with very low distorsion.

In the Donau aktiv MK2 kit the Accuton C173-6-191E is used as mids speaker.

This Accuton midrange speaker you can find in a lot of high quality speakers in the five digit price range.

The woofers are Wavecor SW182BD01 with 8 mm linear excursion and low distorsion balance drive technology.This woofers are very good to use in closed bass systems.

The Abacus Dolifet amplifier having analog crossovers, specially made for the donau aktive speaker.

Between 30 Hz and 21000 Hz, the frequency response of this loudspeaker is very linear on axis.

The decay spectrum is nearly perfect. At low volume, i.e. 85 dB at 1 m, the nonlinear distortion is lower than 0.4% above 500 Hz and below 0.6% at 95 dB at 1 m .
