The SBA302-BT soundbar amplifier from Dayton Audio makes it easier than ever to build your own modern powered soundbar. With separate input/amplifier, control, and IR modules you now have the ability to create your own custom soundbar loaded with all the common features found on commercial units. 

For simple connection to almost any television, the SBA302-BT features a variety of input options, including line level, optical, and HDMI ARC. All of the wired inputs are recessed into the power/input module allowing you to design a low-profile soundbar that can mount extremely close to a wall. In addition, a Bluetooth input gives you the ability to stream audio directly from your phone, tablet, or another wireless device.

As an added convenience the SBA302-BT includes two methods of control. The first is the wired control module which gives you the ability to control power, input, and volume directly from your soundbar. The second option is the IR remote control for convenient operation directly from the comfort of your seat. Also, a unique remote learning feature allows you to use any existing IR remote to control the most common functions of the SBA302-BT.

Note: An 18V, 3A power supply is included with the SBA302-BT.

Input/Amplifier Module

The input/amplifier module in the main component of the SBA302-BT consisting of the audio inputs, power connections, and the amplifier board. At only 4.76cm high, 21.6cm wide, and 7.62cm deep, this unit requires minimal space allowing you to build the most compact designs. With line level, optical digital, and HDMI ARC wired inputs the SBA302-BT is easy to connect to any modern TV. Finally, all of the connections are recessed into this module for installation close to a wall to keep you sound bar as unobtrusive as possible.

Control Module

With the control module you can control the majority of the functions directly from the sound bar. This module includes separate buttons for power, input switching, and volume controls. Requiring less than 1.27cm of mounting depth, this 5.71cm x 8.9cm panel can be installed almost anywhere. The SPA302-BT can also be programmed to control all of the function on this module from any infrared remote control.

IR Module

Designed to be installed in the front of your sound bar, the IR module accepts the signal from the wireless remote control and includes the status LEDs. The status LEDs indicate which input is selected, indicate when a Dolby Digital signal is present, and blink to indicate volume adjustments. As an added convenience, the status LEDs can be toggled on/off with the included remote to give you the optimal viewing experience by making your sound bar completely discreet.

Remote Control

An IR remote control makes it easy to control all of the functions on the SBA302-BT right from the comfort of your seat. The remote controls the same functions as the control module; power, input switching, and volume. In addition, the remote add the ability to mute, toggle the LED on/off, and select one of 4 EQ presets.

Note: The subwoofer level adjustment is not currently used.
