PURIFI EVAL1 Amplifier Stereo set

The EVAL1 stereo evaluation kit creates effortless signal and power supply connections for a stereo 1ET400A setup. The kit is developed for evaluation purposes, but is perfect suitably for DIY applications.

The 1ET400A amplifier module yields an audio quality level that sets the standard for power amplifiers of any operating class. The power supply and signal connections, available at the pin header on the1ET400A module, require special attention. This EVAL1 kit provides a buffered input signal and handles the power supply connections for a 1ET400A module in an easy manner. The kit is supplied with two 1ET400A amplifier modules, one FE02 stereo front-end module and a power supply cable set. The FE02 front-end module allows you to easily connect a compatible power supply with the supplied cable set. The signal input is connected through XLR. Two pairs of banana-plug speaker connectors allow for easy speaker connections. The FE02 front-end module uses dual OPA1612 opamps as pre-gain stage and buffer. The total gain for the EVAL1 (FE02 and 1ET400A) is 27 dB, but can set for a total gain of 14 dB. The opamps receive their supply voltage through a pair of onboard low noise discrete voltage regulators. The EVAL1 is compatible with the Hypex SMPS1200A400 configured with unregulated Vaux rails. The supplied cable set has pre-attached connector housings for the FE02 on one end. The other end has pre-crimped terminals with separate connector housings. This allows you to connect the EVAL1 with any compatible power supply. The pre-crimped terminals and supplied JST housings are compatible with the SMPS1200A400.
