Installation
To efficiently use CTK FoilFix 200 material, before gluing, it is recommended to cut it to the target shape with a few centimeter allowance enabling solid adhesive film to the substrate around the edge of the glued technological hole. It can be helpful in applying a sheet of foil to the hole with the paper securing the adhesive and pre-pressing the edge of the hole on the foil (e.g. by rolling the sheet over the hole's edges with a roller for mounting aluminum butyl mats). This will allow you to map the shape to the cut without losing material to the waste (remember allowance). Then, the technological hole should be covered with a foil of a previously cut shape and strongly pressed against the ground around the edge of the hole. In the area of ​​the hole itself, CTK FoilFix 200 can be rolled with moderate pressure, e.g. to lightly shape the cavity if it was necessary for some reason. The next stage is the standard sticking of alu-butyl damping mats to the entire surface prepared in this way, including technological holes sealed with CTK FoilFix 200 aluminum foil.

WARNING! - single use product. If you try to tear off the already glued CKT FoilFix 200 (e.g. to correct the mounting location), permanent damage (delamination) of the adhesive layer may occur, therefore, reuse of the same element may no longer be fully effective or possible.

How to apply

• Ensure surface you wish to apply CTK to is cleaned thoroughly
• Cut the sheet/roll as required
• Preheat the sheet if needed
