Change mode with just one button

Since the BTR15 can work as both a Bluetooth receiver and a USB DAC, FiiO built in a button for PC/BT/PHONE mode. With just one press, you can quickly switch between the three different modes to meet your current high-quality music enjoyment scenario.

PC: Connect as a USB DAC, fully powered by the computer.

BT: Bluetooth DAC and amplifier, powered by the BTR15's internal battery; it can be charged when connected via USB.

PHONE: Connect to a phone as a USB DAC dongle, powered by the BTR15's internal battery.

Global Parametric EQ - Be the master of your music

The FiiO BTR15 features a global parametric equalizer (PEQ). FiiO's self-developed

PEQ algorithm and user interface allow you to select the exact frequencies to adjust along with their gain levels and bandwidth in each mode* - allowing you to fine-tune the sound exactly how you want it.

PEQ Notes: *The PEQ settings in BT mode are implemented by the QCC5125 DSP with support for LDAC and other Bluetooth codecs up to 96kHz/24bit.

*The PEQ settings in PC/PHONE mode are implemented by the XMOS XU316 with support for PCM 192kHz.

*The PEQ settings in PC/PHONE mode are implemented by the XMOS chip. Enabling or disabling the PEQ will restart the USB and disconnect it.

The FiiO BTR15 supports up to 8x MQA decoding, enabling master-level high-resolution sound quality in files of reasonable size suitable for your mobile device.

Double curved glass

With the BTR15, FiiO is the first to use hot-bent curved glass, which is used on both the front and back of the device. Like its big brother, the BTR7, the BTR15 also features a large display - a brilliant 0.96-inch OLED display. This display not only allows for more information to be shown at once, but also a larger font - making it easier to see the device status and change various settings.

Two outputs

In addition to the standard 3.5mm headphone output, the BTR15 also features the widely used 4.4mm balanced headphone output, which offers greater contact reliability and durability compared to the 2.5mm balanced output. Thanks to the two outputs, you can use the BTR15 with multiple headphones for an even better listening experience.

Independent power supply for amplifiers - Explosive power - Electricity is the mother of sound

With this in mind, FiiO engineers designed an independent power supply for the ES9219MQ's headphone amplifier - this means that the headphone amplifier does not share a power supply with the DAC part. This results in a purer and more robust power supply for the headphone amplifier.

Parallel output, more power

You don't have to use the 4.4mm balanced output to take advantage of the higher output power. To improve the BTR15's performance in every way, FiiO has paralleled the headphone outputs to also significantly increase the output power of the 3.5mm single-ended output, better driving low-impedance headphones so you can better utilize their potential.

Comprehensive battery protection

To alleviate the worry about the battery condition, FiiO engineers have implemented a series of software and hardware measures to comprehensively protect the BTR15's battery.

Battery isolation: When the BTR15 is connected to a computer and used in USB-DAC mode for a long time, the battery can no longer be charged but is completely powered by the computer, preventing damage to the battery; Long-lasting high-temperature resistant battery: more resistant to high temperatures for a longer service life; Built-in temperature sensor: dynamic detection of charge and discharge and automatic adjustment of the charging current depending on the temperature* effectively prevents thermal damage to the battery. *Detected high temperatures lead to an adjustment of the charging current. Depending on the current state of the device, the charging speed may be reduced or the charging process may be turned off.
