12 mm driver meets diamond-like carbon – highest sound purity

Sometimes just 12 millimeters are enough for first-class sound. At least when they are installed in the dynamic in-ear headphones FiiO FD3 Pro. The membrane itself is made of "diamond-like carbon", i.e. carbon that is almost as hard as a diamond. This makes the membrane solid and resistant to distortion, but also extremely light and reacts to impulses at lightning speed in order to reproduce the music signal faithfully.

The membrane is driven by a magnet with 1.5 Tesla magnetic force and a voice coil from the Japanese specialist Daikoku. This means there is plenty of power and a clear, structured and powerful sound is guaranteed.

Balanced sound culture – with half-open housing

Of course, music should not only sound finely resolved, but also powerful. But as always, there is such a thing as too much of a good thing. The FiiO FD3 Pro is designed as a semi-open device to always maintain exactly the right balance between pressure and naturalness.

Aluminium meets magnesium – In a beautiful case

The whole is more than the sum of its parts, but every part counts. This is also the case with the housing of high-quality in-ear headphones such as the FiiO FD3 Pro. Here, too, as you would expect from FiiO, nothing is left to chance, but instead a precisely CNC-manufactured housing made of aluminum and magnesium is used.

And to make the headphones even more exciting, the housing cheeks are covered with a layer of celluloid, which is then refined with 2.5D glass. This makes them - in the truest sense of the word - a real highlight for the eyes and ears.

Full throttle music – and replaceable with a single movement

Sound is a very personal matter. And no matter how much effort FiiO puts into guaranteeing excellent sound, they don't know what that means for you personally. But with the two interchangeable sound tubes, you don't have to, because you decide for yourself.

The thicker of the two tubes (the red version) is recommended for all lovers of lively, bass-heavy sound. The thinner tube (the black version), on the other hand, ensures a clear, precise sound.

The sound of the FiiO FD3 Pro can already be adjusted using the two sound tubes provided, but with the ear tips included in the delivery, FiiO takes the topic a big step further. So you will find three sets of balanced ear tips in sizes S, M and L in the package, three sets with bass tuning and more precision in the vocal range. There are also two pairs of foam ear tips for very sensitive ears, which adapt perfectly to the shape of your inner ear using body heat and ensure a perfect fit.
