The HELIX AMI Tuning Kit from Audiotec Fischer is a professional measurement suite designed for advanced car audio applications. It combines the AMI (Audio Measurement Interface) with a selection of premium accessories, offering a comprehensive and immediately operational tool for the precise analysis of electrical and acoustic signals in modern DSP audio systems.

The AMI interface, the heart of the system, is designed for full integration with the DSP PC-Tool software. It provides inputs and outputs for every type of measurement: a line input with selectable sensitivity (1 V/40 V) for low- and high-level signals, stereo RCA and optical outputs for direct playback into the DSP, and a built-in loopback function that enables advanced measurements such as phase response and detailed signal path evaluation.

The kit includes the Beyerdynamic MM-1 reference condenser microphone, calibrated with a 90° linear frequency response and optimized for in-car measurements. The AMI works in synergy with the advanced DSP PC-Tool tools, including:

- Advanced Input Signal Analyzer (AISA) for OEM signal analysis and factory equalization and filter compensation

- Real-Time Analyzer (RTA) for high-precision frequency response measurements

- TuneEQ for automatic tuning using proprietary algorithms

- Automatic Time Measurement (ATM) for automatic calibration of speaker delays
