GAS MAD K1-64 are 165 mm two-way component car speakers with 80 W RMS power.

There's nothing better than replacing that old dusty wannabe speaker that's been hiding behind the door panel. Did your old speakers break because they couldn't handle your VOLUME level? Good! Time to upgrade. GAS's goal with the K1 series component kit is to give you as much sound as possible without compromising the stability of your account.

Just the way you like it, just the way your car wants it – uncomplicated, LOUD and made to fit like a glove. For crisp, clear highs, we've included 20mm silk dome tweeters with neodymium magnets and inline crossovers. Place the tweeter wherever you want! The K1 series includes three different height mounting accessories.

The GAS research department really went crazy! They developed a new type of IMPP diaphragm for the MAD S2 subwoofers and decided it was so good that they carried it over to the K1 range of speakers. They also added a hard PP dust cap with a convex shape for better high frequency dispersion and off-axis response. This means that the K1 series speakers are durable, moisture resistant and ready to kick the ass of all the competition!

The 25mm KSV voice coil is wound with lightweight CCAW (Copper Clad Aluminum Wire) which creates a dynamic sound. The surround of the woofer is made of durable soft butyl. Since the Swedish weather encompasses all the different seasons just like ours - the K1 range is designed to withstand them all. Hot, cold, UV - it doesn't matter. It's MAD and it's made to play LOUD, no matter what the circumstances!
