The W-shaped diaphragm, made from a composite of wool and wood nanofibers, ensures a wide, dynamic, and controlled frequency response, while the closed structure with a U-shaped damping tube optimizes bass output and reduces internal resonances.

With low impedance and high sensitivity, the FT13 are easy to drive even with portable sources, delivering natural, detailed, and immersive sound. The braided cable made from Furukawa monocrystalline copper and silver-plated OFC copper ensures high-purity signal transmission, while the lambskin and suede earpads offer comfort and acoustic customization.

The earcups of the FiiO FT13-32 are crafted from solid Purpleheart wood, a rare species native to South America. Each piece is naturally seasoned for 90 days to bring out its deep purple color and unique grain. Precision CNC machining and a multi-layered high-gloss lacquer finish ensure a flawless finish that enhances the wood's natural elegance.

Beyond its aesthetic value, Purpleheart wood offers superior density and hardness, which reduces internal resonances and improves sound reproduction: the result is faster, cleaner, and more defined sound.

The FT13-32's sound is powered by a 60mm dynamic driver, an exceptional size in the world of over-ear headphones. This large surface area allows for greater efficiency in converting electrical signals into sound, reducing distortion and ensuring deep bass, fast transients, and a wide soundstage.

Wood and Composite Fiber Diaphragm

The FT13-32's diaphragm is crafted from Northern European birch wood combined with wool and carbon fibers. The entire manufacturing process follows a paper-making technique handed down for over 100 years. This blend produces a rigid yet flexible diaphragm, just 0.1 mm thick, which delivers a natural, warm, and immersive sound.
