    Dayton Audio PA200-8 8" Pro Woofer Speaker

    The PA200-8 8" professional audio woofer, from Dayton Audio, features high power handling by using a vented pole piece and voice coil gap. Black motor parts (including a black polyimide voice coil) help dissipate heat away from the voice coil and help to minimize power compression.

    Extended, smooth frequency response and low distortion are achieved through the use of a powerful 50 ounce ceramic ferrite magnet, combined with a copper cap on the pole piece to reduce stray eddy currents and minimize voice coil inductance.

    A strong, low-mass, carbon fiber-impregnated paper cone, together with an I-beam rolled-edge 1.2 mm steel frame provides the rugged durability needed to handle the rigors of touring and for stage use, while still offering the sensitivity and punchy bass that you need.

    Dayton Audio's PA Series woofer packs all of these premium features into a value-priced 8" driver that is great for use as an upgrade to sound reinforcement or musical instrument speakers. The PA200-8 also excels in custom-built speakers.
