Mundorf's new EVO range of capacitors incorporates the extraordinary EVOLUTION winding technology. This has an unusually narrow but high capacitor coil. This format has two advantages over the normal sizing of capacitors. First, since a smaller width is required, the signal path between the huge contact areas is significantly reduced, therefore an extremely low equivalent series resistance / ESR is obtained. Secondly, in order to achieve the same capacity, the number of parallel windings is greater than with regular plugs, therefore an equivalent minimized series inductance / ESL is obtained.

The winding process is incredibly precise, the reels are wound by hand in specially developed housings. Resulting in almost avoiding vibrations and microphone effects during the winding process. In addition, Mundorf uses the purest polypropylene film vaporized with the thickest metal layer possible. The capacitors are manufactured with one branch larger than the other to allow horizontal and vertical mounting, while the shorter branch also indicates the outer film of the cap.

The high specification MCap EVO Silver Gold oil combines the audible characteristics of the EVO MCap oil with those of a Silver / Gold metallization process. The sound signature is incredibly beautiful. The musical performance of the MCap EVO Silver Gold Oil is only surpassed by Mundorf's flagship SUPREME capacitors.
