Rega Planar 6 & Neo PSU turntable white matt

The Planar 6 complements Rega's product range around the successful RP8 and RP10 turntables.

It is the first turntable to feature an ultra-light Tan-Cast 8 polyethene foam plinth. This is exceptionally thin but extremely rigid. The plinth has been coated with a HPL (high pressure laminate) in a stunning scratch-resistant Polaris matt grey with a high gloss polished black edge. The Planar 6 now benefits from a one-piece machined aluminium base plate and a new 24V motor that has been manually tuned to its own NEO power supply.

The Neo PSU uses the RP10 - Digital Signal Processor. This creates a near-perfect sinusoidal waveform to drive the motor. The RB330 tonearm has been developed using the latest 3D CAD and CAM technology and is the result of more than 35 years of experience in tonearm design. Featuring a brand new bearing housing and the latest tonearm tube designed with intelligent mass redistribution, this arm is ensured to have fewer resonance points. Extreme stability with almost frictionless movement provided by the new high precision bearing assemblies guarantees you get more information out of your vinyl than ever before. Base
