The coils offered here are made of enamelled copper wire with a purity (copper) of 99.99%. The coils have tinned wire ends and are labeled. The inductance is measured at 25 degrees Celsius; their tolerance is +/- 3%. L indicates the inductance, R the DC resistance, wire-D the wire diameter and DxH the diameter and height of the coil.
With the ferrite material HO 3616 Mundorf meets the wishes of many users for an inexpensive and at the same time heavy-duty ferrite material. The mechanical advantages of these relatively small coils are obvious. However, only a few materials meet the high demands in terms of resilience and distortion behavior. The material HP 3616 used by Mundorf and manufactured in Germany clearly distinguishes it from the widely used inexpensive Far East cores. The H series combines inexpensive electrical and mechanical data with relatively low costs.
