ZDC- and ZDT- Harness Benefits

The ZDT- harness connects seamlessly behind the OEM head unit without cutting any wires, providing reliable power, clear signal transfer, and reduced noise thanks to its twisted cables and oversized power and ground wires.

The ZDC- harness extends this connection to the ZDA6.8 DSP Amplifier under the front seat, ensuring a clean installation and enhanced audio performance. Together, they deliver efficient integration and exceptional sound quality.

OIS – OEM Impedance Simulation

The ZDA6.8 is equipped with OEM Impedance Simulation (OIS), ensuring compatibility with modern head units and amplifiers. By simulating speaker impedance, it maintains the functionality of your vehicle’s OEM head unit, preventing potential issues with plug-and-play installations.

Input Priority

The Input Priority feature ensures effortless integration with your vehicle’s OEM head unit. You can use low-level inputs or digital sources such as wireless streaming, Optical, or Coaxial, without losing vital system sounds like parking sensors, alerts, and radio signals. For instance, if your vehicle has a high-pass filter that limits bass output, you can bypass this limitation by streaming audio directly to the DSP via wireless streaming while maintaining full OEM functionality.

DSP Outputs

The ZDA6.8 doesn’t stop at upgrading your system—it also enables expansion. With two free DSP-configurable RCA outputs (Channels 7-8), you can connect additional amplifiers, such as a subwoofer amp, and fully optimise them using the DSP software. Delay settings, filters, and equalisation options ensure top-tier performance for your additional components.
