This GLADEN speaker system has an impedance of 3 ohms instead of the usual 4 ohms. And for good reason: if a 3 ohm system is operated on an amplifier, this will do more than with a 4 ohm load. If no separate amplifier is used, the radio cables in the system act as additional resistance. Often these have reduced cross-sections, with a total load of about 4 ohms, but you also get better power than traditional 4-ohm speakers.
