The Yamaha 220Li Electric Water Scooter, is the entry level model of the Professional Dive Series category, an excellent starting point for all Snorkelers and Divers who are looking for a professional product with low costs. Also suitable for those who need a comfortable means of transport from their boat to the beach or to those who simply want to spend an hour of fun at the sea, at the lake or in the pool.

Like the entire line of Professional Dive Series underwater scooters (with the exception of the 275L model), the 220Li also features a lithium ion battery, in this 22.2v / 4Ah model, rechargeable in just 3 hours. It is possible to upgrade by installing the Water Scooter 500Li or 350Li batteries to improve DPV performance.

The shape is perfectly hydrodynamic to minimize the friction of the water, which combined with the 220W brushless 2-speed electric motor and the low weight of only 8.6Kg including battery, so at SeaScooter to reach the maximum speed of 5Km / h to reach up to 30m in depth.
The front shell is made of ABS while the battery compartment is constructed using a polymer alloy composed of PC + PBT.

All operations are very simple for the user. The GoPro®HERO support is included, the ergonomic handlebar houses a LED indicator to keep the battery status under control. The comfortable buttons activate the propeller if both are pressed and they also deactivate it releasing only one. The DPV on and off operations are regulated by a general switch.

By default, the attitude is slightly positive, ie the DPV tends to return to the surface once it is immersed in water. The buoyancy value can be modified by installing the appropriate weights or floating elements sold separately and refers to use in salt water. In fresh water the behavior of the 220Li underwater scooter may vary.

A special grille prevents accidental contact with the propeller and the sensors installed in the battery compartment and in the engine area, in the event of critical situations such as leaks in the watertight chamber or overheating of the engine, they activate an acoustic signal to alert the user .
