Due to the great success of the (discontinued) The PATCHBAY B5 in being used as a universal audio interconnect, they introduced The BAY C5 HYBRID: the coaxial (unbalanced) HYBRID version of the balanced The PATCHBAY B5.

The BAY C5 HYBRID was specially developed for general applications and car hi-fi connections and is characterized by an excellent price-performance ratio. The BAY C5 HYBRID is also excellent for internal (pre-)amplifier and mixer cabling and as an unbalanced patchbay connection.

The constructive combination of high transmission quality, low conductor-conductor capacitance, very high shielding factor as well as high mechanical flexibility and a long service life is not easy to implement, but it is successful.

Large crystalline OFC with a dense silver coating is used as the high-quality conductor material in this cable.

The BAY C5 HYBRID has also been fully equipped with Linear Structured Carbon ® (LSC) saturated layers, which are standard in the more expensive cable products. These layers significantly improve transparency and imaging properties; by electrically bridging metal crystal defects, stable conductivity is achieved at the lowest signal levels.

Linear Structured Carbon ® saturated layer allows to further shield the cable from RF signals and drastically improve signal quality.
