Auto Finesse ObliTARate GEL Tar&Glue Remover (1 L) is an extremely strong remover of tar, tar, glue and asphalt from car paint and windows.
ObliTARate Gel is an exceptionally effective solvent-based product designed to dissolve stubborn and sticky dirt on immediate contact. This chemical removal process is an important part of the paintwork decontamination phase and is essential to minimise the risk of damage and scratching during the subsequent decontamination and polishing phases.
ObliTARate Gel has been developed as a highly viscous, user-friendly liquid that remains on surfaces for the maximum possible time. It helps chemically break down contaminants and allows even the toughest sticky residue to be safely wiped away with a microfiber cloth.
Immediately upon application, the solvent begins to dissolve heavy soiling such as tar, glue and rubber splatter, dissolving the contaminants and allowing them to be physically removed from the surface.
ObliTARate Gel is also suitable for removing factory protective wax coatings, remnants of old stickers, decals and even overspray.
Please note that ObliTARate Gel is an extremely strong product and can cause damage to fresh paint. When using the product on these surfaces, proceed with caution and test in an inconspicuous area first. If the paint does not fog or otherwise deteriorate and there is no visible paint residue on the cloth or applicator after wiping, you can use ObliTARate Gel with complete confidence.

Note: Use only moderate pressure on the cloth you are wiping off the residue of adhesives, pitch or asphalt. It is better to repeat the procedure twice than to scratch the paint with undissolved residue of contamination. After removing the asphalt and adhesives, the cleaned area must be treated again.
