The Sylvester SQL box is an impressive woofer that combines 2 different speaker brands to create a wonderful mix of features and sound. With the AP-M60SQL, you get a good pop in the sound but goes a little deeper than a regular SPL element through a longer throw. The tweeter comes from the Xselsus XPL28W, a unique horn-loaded 28mm softdome tweeter with wonderful sound properties. The sound is divided with a crossover filter.

The Apocalypse AP-M60SQL is a 6.5-inch midrange speaker from Deaf Bonce in their Apocalypse performance series. This speaker offers a hybrid experience between Sound Quality Level (SQL) and Sound Pressure Level (SPL). With its longer throw, it gives a good pop in the sound and can also go a little deeper than regular SPL elements. The AP-M60SQL is optimized to deliver detailed and well-balanced sound in the midrange and offers a balanced sound reproduction with the ability to increase volume and power when needed.

The Xcelsus XPLT28W is a horn-loaded 28mm soft dome tweeter with extremely high efficiency. This tweeter delivers a smooth sound while still being able to play loud with low distortion. It is perfectly suited for SQL builds and contributes to a lovely sound characteristic in combination with the AP-M60SQL midrange.

Featuring a dBVox crossover filter that offers a cut-off frequency of 4000 Hz at 2 ohms with a slope of 12 dB per octave to split the sound and ensure correct frequency response.

The plank is a closed construction and has space for 4x6.5" midbass and 2 tweeters. It is built in robust MDF material and has a terminal on the back for easy connection. Please note that this is a universal box, which means that some processing may be needed depending on the elements you choose.

NOTE! The tweeter hole of the box may be smaller than the delivered tweeters. This is so that most tweeters can be used in the supplied universal box. Therefore, a rasp or similar may need to be used to widen the hole to a perfect fit.
