Carbon Nano Tube is an ultra thin very conductive carbon conductor. The actual diameter of the single strand is 15 micron. We use 19 of these single strands to twist together to have one internal conductor of the balanced configuration of the CNT.

To produce a single 15 micron continues strand is really an art. Especially where 19 strands should run in parallel without any interruption. Our, at the time also very revolutionaries. carbon cables like The First and The Second, originating from 1987, work with 12.000 x 5 micron diameter strands producing a DC-impedance of 28 Ohm / meter. The 19 CNT strands are together around 65 Ohm / meter. An impedance improvement with a factor 272.

The sonic quality comes especially from the extreme stable carbon structure thanks to the very innovative manufacturing technology. Especially the fact that in one run 500 meter of stable and uninterrupted CNT is manufactured proofs the real quality of the high-tech processing. In any cable comparison we made so far, The CNT always performed as the best product. The higher impedance is no problem at all because the low resistance in a standard audio connection is minimal 50kOhm.
