The tweeters of our AMT U. series are now also very popular among demanding DIY speaker builders. In order to meet their demands for precise, uncomplicated front assembly and a high-quality finish, every U.Series model will now be supplied with an attractive, black aluminum front panel. A custom-fit cutout in the back of the 6mm! The thick panel ensures that the AMT motor unit is perfectly centered and can be integrated flush into the baffle with an enlarged contact surface.

Exceptionally low K3/K5 distortion, powerful music reproduction over the entire range of use and the Mundorf AMT typical fine detail. It is always the first choice when life-performance volume is to be achieved at large listening distances - such as with very large floor-standing speakers or in home cinema use. Due to its front panel geometry, it is ideal for the vertical grouping of several tweeters in a line (stacking). The AMT U160W1.1 thus positions itself in the border area for sound reinforcement technology.
