Schuko / IEC Ramm Audio Amadeus 5 - 1.5m Power Cable

The new Ramm Audio power cable with 6 main conductors has finally arrived, each consisting of seven PCOCC solid cores of 0.5 mm in diameter, 4 of which individually insulated in polyethylene and 3 bare. This configuration is adopted to ensure that as much air as possible remains inside each bundle (we refer you to the description of the Elite 30 for the reasons for this. The seven groups of conductors have an aluminum shield and are enclosed in a PVC sheath maintaining a perfect helix configuration (DNA type to understand) all together are then wrapped by an additional screen and a PVC sheath which also contains natural cotton bundles to make everything as deaf as possible towards resonances induced and simultaneously maintain the star configuration desired by the project.

Also to maintain perfect symmetry, a full polyethylene cylinder occupies the virtual space of the seventh bunch of conductors. We then have an external non-insulated cable consisting of three wires identical to the others called Drain in direct contact with the aluminum screen to be connected (eventually) together with the earth on the start side.

Externally a mesh sheath finishes everything. The overall external diameter is 16 mm. Warning: this too, like all Ramm cables is strictly directional, the manufacturer reiterates the importance of this particularity several times and recommends its absolute respect.
