Seas Excel T25CF002 - E0011 1" soft dome tweeter

The T25CF002, "MILLENNIUM" is a 25mm soft dome tweeter with a new neodymium-based magnet system. A unique HEXADYM magnet system (US Pat 6,020,805) based on 6 radially magnetized NdFeB magnet blocks. Efficient ventilation and damping of every potential resonance space behind the dome, surround and voice coil. Moderate stray magnetic fields are not a problem in AV systems. A generously geared voice coil (+ and - 0.5 mm) ensures low distortion even at low crossover frequencies.

An optimally shaped and coated fabric dome membrane, manufactured by SEAS from SONOTEX, ensures excellent performance and durability. Flexible connecting wires ensure a good connection between the voice coil and the terminals. This arrangement also helps to avoid line breakage due to the large deflections at low crossover frequencies.

A 6.0mm thick injection molded Zinc faceplate with a very low stress curve ensuring a flat frequency response and a stiff and stable connection to the cabinet. A solid, injection-molded zinc back chamber eliminates all unwanted chamber resonances and conducts heat away from the magnet system.
