    TANG BAND W1-1931S - 1.25" Full Range 2 X TB-Speakers (PAIR)

    Tang Band's W1-1931S micro full-range driver features amazing performance that belies its diminutive 31 mm diameter (under 1-1/4") size. The patented design employs a unique polypropylene cone, with flower petal embossments, that's mated to a neodymium motor for maximum BL product in the voice coil gap. A free air resonance of 170 Hz allows you to pair these nearly any woofer or subwoofer up to 6-1/2 feet away without localization and beaming effects (poor off-axis response).

    Additionally, you can use these drivers in multiples for an awesome line-array speaker that requires a miniscule footprint. Great for use in designing micro LCR (left, center, right) speakers for modern flat panel HDTVs, or even computer desk and laptop speakers. The high-fidelity nature of these drivers is exemplified by their low Qts specification (quite rare in drivers this size), while the ultra-low inductance allows these to play relatively flat frequency response up 20,000 Hz! Ferrofluid cooling protects and cools the voice coil, while the mineral-filled polypropylene cone combines with the Santoprene surround for use in harsh environments. Press-fit frame design minimizes center-to-center distance.

    Note: Higher power handling can be achieved by using a 200 Hz 2nd-order high-pass filter, or by using multiple drivers together.
