MONACOR WALL-05DT Active speaker with Dante

The wall loudspeaker WALL-05DT leaves no wish unfulfilled. It is not only a DSP module, but also a 2-channel Dante ™ module. This Dante ™ loudspeaker is particularly suitable for commercial applications in the professional field. It is used when several audio channels have to be transmitted over long distances and to different locations or areas. Areas of application are schools, office buildings, fitness studios, shops and restaurants.
In contrast to analog transmission, the digital transmission offers several advantages. The signal is comparatively interference-prone even at longer distances and the quality of the cable is lower than for analog audio transmissions. Compared to other audio over Ethernet applications such as CobraNet or EtherSound, Dante ™ provides built-in Gigabit support, more channels, lower latency, and automatic configuration.
The WALL-05DT is powered by PoE (Power over Ethernet) or an optional 12V power supply. Furthermore, the integrated DSP module can be controlled via an app, which provides the most important functions, such as a master volume control and control for treble, midrange and bass.
