The brand new Elicit MK5 Stereo Integrated Amplifier has been designed and built to the highest standards. The redesigned aluminum chassis integrates perfectly with the current Rega line and the Elektronic builds on previous Rega designs by using the multi-award winning Class A/B power amplifier circuit to deliver a powerful 105W per channel into 8Ω to deliver loads (127 W into 6 Ω). Rega engineers have developed a new Rega DAC circuit that offers digital connectivity and better integration with a wide range of other products. Rega hasgreat care has been taken to incorporate a high quality MM phono stage and the headphone input has been configured so that speaker switching is performed by the output mute relay so as not to obstruct the signal path.

The new Elicit MK5 draws on decades of electronics design experience. It's a complex blend of three of our most successful products that promises big sound, performance, features and style. Capable of driving difficult speakers with ease, the Elicit MK5 integrates perfectly into any audio system with a variety of connectivity options. In addition to line, digital and a high-quality MM phono input (moving magnet), you will also find pre-out, direct-in, record loop functionality and the powerful headphone input.

The Elicit MK5 now shares design cues taken directly from the highly acclaimed Aethos amp. You'll find the same discrete FET-based preamp circuitry, plus an Alps volume potentiometer to further enhance sonic and technical performance. As you would expect, special attention was paid to the selection of the most important audio components. Discrete circuitry, high quality relays, polypropylene capacitors and Sanken output transistors are used throughout the design. The galvanically/optically isolated digital inputs use a Wolfson S/PDIF receiver IC to deliver exceptional detail and clarity from any connected source. The output is provided by a Wolfson DAC and a discrete line driver circuit developed by Rega.
