Precision cast and surface treated magnesium cone coupled with a natural rubber surround showing no signs of midrange (edge) resonance. Heavy copper rings above and below the T-shaped pole piece reduce non-linear and modulation-related distortion and increase the clipping reserve.

An extremely rigid and strong injection molded metal basket keeps critical components in perfect alignment. Large windows in the basket above and below the spider reduce sound reflections, flow noise and cavity resonances to a minimum. A solid copper phase plug increases the performance of the copper rings and improves heat dissipation away from the pole core. Gold plated terminals mounted on a glass fiber reinforced plate to reduce contact resistance and improve reliability.
